DESIGNER THREADS - JULY 21, 2010

After making buttons from polymer clay at the May and June meetings…..we are ready to move on. The July meeting will be to make our plans for the months after the Quilt Show in September. In addition, at this meeting, we’ll have a potluck fruit and dessert bar. That’s right…..bring a fruit plate or a dessert. We’ll eat and plan our upcoming meetings. Bring you ideas, techniques, etc., with your appetite. Plates and forks will be provided. Also any liquid refreshment is up to you.

Nancy Jeffryes will be at the August meeting to get us ready for the fashion show. We’ll work on our descriptions. Remember 2008 where we used terms such as “rampant with color”, “gleaming jewel tones”, etc. We’ll be needing those terms again.

Our embellished denim shirt challenge is due at the July guild meeting. These will be voted on by the membership at the day and night meetings. If you need your shirt before the Designer Threads meeting in August, contact Billie or Sandy.

Come to Designer Threads in July and give us your input.
