OPQG general meetings are
held the fourth Tuesday of each month (date may change because of holidays).
The meetings are held at 2738 S. Campbell in the Village Shopping Center North
of Battlefield Road. The monthly meetings begin at 10:00am and 6:00pm. Members usually arrive at the meetings early so they will have time to sign in, check out books, sign up for classes, and visit with other quilters. At these meetings we typically begin with our program, which usually includes a guest speaker. Our business meeting follows the program and includes "Show and Tell", information on upcoming guild events, trip, workshops, etc. Our speakers are quilt artists from outside the guild and artists from within the guild. All guests are invited to attend 2 meetings after which they are invited to become members of the guild. Workshops are given by the professional quilting teachers. The workshops are usually held on Tuesday afternoon, after the monthly guild meeting, or on Wednesday following the guild meeting. The evening workshop schedule varies. A fee is charged for these workshops.
