What
quilts were women making before, during and after the Civil War?
What effect did the War have on fabrics, style, and patterns for
quiltmakers? How did quilts serve as political statements for both
Northern and Southern quilters? What part did quilts play in the
lives of men and women, whose lives were forever changed by this
war? Terry will show both new and old quilts, and clothes to tell
the stories. Members are encouraged to bring Civil War era quilts
