The phrase “a great time was had by all” definitely was on the minds of all the students pictured in these photos from the June workshop with Reeze Hanson. As the subtitle from Heather Mulder Peterson’s book “Sizzlin’ Sixties’ stated, making hexagon blocks from 2 1/2 inch strips really is easy. In addition, these lucky members spent the day learing many other skills that resulted in making accurate piecing a breeze, especially when using the simple tools included in the class instruction. Reeze also demonstrated a variety of ways to arrange the blocks created with the 60 degree ruler. Many thanks to Reeze from the OPQG workshop members for a day well spent.
